Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026
This website is operated by Beacon Accounting Solutions ("Beacon," "we," "us"), West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit farhanmushtaqcpa.com or start.my-bas.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you enter — typically your first name, email address, and phone number, and optionally a few details about your business (such as revenue range, entity type, or how your current accountant works with you). We use this information to contact you about the free consultation you requested and, if you become a client, to provide our services.
Form submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, and delivered to us by email. Formspree's privacy policy is available at formspree.io.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use analytics and advertising tools that set cookies or similar technologies in your browser. These collect information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, how you arrived at the site (for example, from an advertisement), your approximate location, and your device and browser type. Specifically:
- Google Analytics — to understand how visitors use the site. Google's privacy policy.
- Meta Pixel — to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram advertising leads to consultation requests, and to show ads to people who have visited this site. Meta's privacy policy. You can adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook settings.
- Microsoft Clarity — to see how visitors interact with the page layout (for example, where they scroll or click) so we can improve it. Clarity may record session replays; form fields you type into are masked. Microsoft's privacy statement.
Our website hosting provider (Vercel) may also log basic technical information such as IP addresses for security and reliability purposes.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request for a consultation or price quote.
- To provide accounting, tax, and advisory services if you engage us.
- To understand which of our advertising and pages are effective.
- To improve this website.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your form submissions with third parties for their own marketing.
Your choices
- Email: reply to any message from us and ask to be removed, or email support@my-bas.com.
- Cookies and tracking: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. To limit Meta's ad tracking, adjust your Facebook ad preferences.
- Access or deletion: email us at support@my-bas.com to ask what information we hold about you or to have it deleted, subject to any records we are required to keep as a licensed accounting firm.
Client information
If you become a client, the information you share with us in the course of our engagement — including tax returns and financial records — is protected by professional confidentiality obligations that apply to Certified Public Accountants and by applicable federal and Massachusetts law. Those obligations are separate from, and stricter than, this website policy.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect. Consultation requests are kept for as long as needed to follow up with you and for our business records; you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Children
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we update this policy, the date at the top of this page will change.
